Hi Jan, For this procedure to work you need all the base processes running already, which they were not. Thta's why it did not work. When there are no BISCoTO processes running already you have to do a warm-reboot of the whole BISCoTO set-up... that is: wreboot -n biswKickStart Certainly one would not imagine it just by chance :). I'll do as i said yesterday, document the problems as far as i know they exist and will send you the link. Next time better i hope. J'attends de tes nouvelles. Bonne journée, Jan. -----Original Message----- From: Ana Guerrero Sent: Monday, May 26, 2003 2:54 PM To: Jan Koopman Subject: Procedure to start BTVSPS server in front-end Jan, Here is the procedure to follow: You log in as biswop. cd /user/biswop/config/BTVSPS/bin/V1/LYNX603_3.1.0 BTVSPSCreator BTVSPS -wr . & Then you should see lots of chatting in the screen When the line "All configured processes have been launched. Waiting for disaster." appears, then everything went ok. I'm here anyway if you have problems, Ana -- Ana Guerrero Ollacarizqueta, CERN-SL/BI | e-mail: Ana.Guerrero@cern.ch Tel: +41 (0)22 76 75382/9 | Fax: +41 (0) 22 76 77740
